A Pentagon Promotion

Some sessions just stick with you. Last year, I had the honor of photographing her promotion at the Pentagon — and this year, it was his turn.

It’s not every day you get to witness a dual military couple each celebrate major career milestones in the same iconic place, but this family made it look effortless. With three resilient kids (who handled the day like champs) and two incredibly supportive parents by their side, it was a full-circle kind of moment.

These are the kinds of sessions I love — real, meaningful, and rooted in service and support. Honored to be invited back for round two.
